Miss Philippines Queenierich Rehman made the crowd go wild as she took on hits by Justin Timberlake, Timbaland and Usher.
She put on the unconventional performance during last week’s Talent round where competitors are encouraged to show something special on stage, a requirement which Miss Rehman definitely fulfilled.
The compere welcomed her to the stage by saying the audience would be treated to ‘ the first ever performance of this type in this world’.
Miss Rehman, from Las Pinas in the Philippines, began her performance at the 62nd Miss World pageant in Ordos, China by singing a ballad and suddenly began beatboxing.
She beatboxed chart hits such as The Way I Are by Timbaland ft Keri Hilson, Rock Your Body by Justin Timberlake, and Cali Swag District’s Teach Me How To Dougie.
‘That was the most original act I have ever seen,’ the compere announced after her performance.
He then challenged her skills by asking her if she could teach anyone to beatbox.
Quennierich, or Queenie as she calls herself on Twitter, is a former psychology student who describes herself as ‘a quiet person who is aggressive with what she wants to achieve’ on the Miss World website.
The final of the competition will be held on August 18.
