Matteo Guidicelli makes peace with Coco Martin, answer questions bout ex Maja Salvador

Matteo Guidicelli

The recently concluded Star Magic Ball served to end the animosity(?) between two of ABS-CBN’s hottest actors, Fil-Italian Matteo Guidicelli and multi-awarded hunk, Coco Martin.

The two were involved in a physical altercation in the same event but on a different venue last year.

Matteo handed over Coco Martin’s Standout Star award. He even kissed the actor’s hand in jest.

“It’s very nice to be part of the Star Magic family, na lahat kaibigan, lahat nagba-bonding. Ang Star Magic ay isang family, basically.”’

Matteo added that he did not expect to be friends with Coco in the said event. Everything kinda fell into place.

He also answered questions about his ex, Maja Salvador who just won her 2nd Best Actress trophy from Luna Awards.

“We’re ok, I congratulated her. I am just proud of her.

“She has a new soap coming, so, masaya ako para sa kanya.”

“We went our different ways in a nice way. I still support her,”

Matteo insisted that they broke up mutually and there was no bad blood between the two of them.

Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta get married in ‘Walang Hanggan’

This will gonna be another remarkable episode in the Philippine’s phenomenal hit TV series to watch out in the coming days!

“Walang Hanggan” lead stars Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta will share a milestone with their fans in the upcoming episodes of the Philippine’s phenomenal TV drama as they will walk down the aisle, for the very first time.

“In our movies where we got married, we were never shown inside the church and doing the wedding ceremonies,” Dawn shared.

Because in our past films, the wedding was just narrated or we were already on our honeymoon,” added Richard, who is fully supported by his family. “Even my daughter Julia is an avid viewer. She usually covers her ears and tell me ‘daddy, don’t tell me what will happen. I will just watch the show.”

Will the much-awaited wedding of Marco (Richard) and Emily (Dawn) push through?

Julia Montes denies being in a relationship with Enchong Dee

Enchong Dee and Julia Montes

“Walang Hanggan” actress Julia Montes recently clarified rumors that she is already in a relationship with “The Reunion” co-star Enchong Dee.

The Kapamilya actress explained that she is still not ready for a commitment.

“It’s still hard for me to commit in a serious relationship right now because it might divert my attention. That is why I am just currently focusing on my work,” Julia said. “I am not saying that Enchong doesn’t have a chance because he is kind, educated and very loving to his family. I can say that he is a boyfriend-material.”

When asked about her ideal guy, Julia shared that she is only looking for simple yet striking traits. “I just want someone who is family-oriented, God-fearing, and someone who loves me for who I am. Someone who will not change me,” said Julia, who will celebrate her 18th birthday on March 2013.

Hmmm…Julia better find herself someone whose sexual preference will never be put in question, or she just may go down the KC Concepcion route.  Just saying.

Angeline Quinto tries acting again via MMK

Will Angeline be able to replicate Sarah Geronimo’s multi-media appeal?

Pop Superstar Angeline Quinto will portray the role of Bagobo native in her first-ever “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode this Saturday (August 11).

Angeline Quinto will play the role of Carina, a native of the Bagobo tribe who fell in love with a good-looking Ilonggo named Ariel (portrayed by Jason Abalos). Aside from Ariel’s family who is against their love affair, the cultural differences between Carina and the man she loves will complicate issues in their relationship. Will their love survive despite all hindrances and challenges? Aside from Angeline and Jason, the “MMK” episode will also star Alex Castro, Arie Reyes, Tanya Gomez, Bing Davao, Eva Darren, Tom Olivar, Isabel Lopez, Girlie Alcantara, and Izzy CaniIlo. It will also be the acting debut of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Editon 4 ex-housemates Alec Dungo and Roy Requejo.

Don’t miss another milestone in Angeline’s career in an episode that celebrates World Indigenous Day this Saturday in “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (MMK), after “Wansapanataym” on ABS-CBN.

Will Angeline seize the chance to prove once again that she can cross-over and be a multi-media star like Sarah Geronimo?  It can be noted that Angeline’s first foray into acting via the movie ““Born to Love You” opposite indie turned mainstream hunk, Coco Martin was not as successful as initially expected.   Guess we’ll have to wait and see this Saturday.

Paulo Avelino earn viewers ire for “raping” Julia Montes

Julia Montes and Paulo Avelino playing Katerina and Nathan

ABS-CBN’s top-rating primetime series “Walang Hanggan” on Wednesday night warned millions of its viewers of a Strong Parental Guidance (SPG) rating as Katerina (Montes) was shown being forced to have sex by her husband Nathan (Avelino).

After years of marriage without sexual intimacy, the “psychotic” Nathan was shown attempting to rape Katerina as she was held hostage by her brother Tomas (Joem Bascon) and Johanna (Melissa Ricks).

Katerina, who is in love with Daniel (Coco Martin), barely managed to escape after a struggle with Nathan, but only after she was forced to have sex by her husband.

The scene, which showed Katerina being punched by Nathan repeatedly, proved to be controversial, as viewers of the show posted at rapid pace their reactions on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Netizens especially expressed their anger towards Nathan, who is played by Avelino. Having recently been cited as Best Actor by the Gawad Urian, Avelino has earned raves for his portrayal of the notorious character in “Walang Hanggan.”

Even as the show took on the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board’s (MTRCB) SPG rating as a caution to viewers about the rape scene, the Tuesday episode of “Walang Hanggan” was still the No. 1 most watched show in the country nationwide.
